My inspiration and my passion for photography first and foremost begins with my family. I’m a wife to a wonderful husband of 36 years, a proud mother to a son and daughter, and grandmother to three adorable grandchildren. They truly are my inspirations and with their encouragement and support, how my love of photography was born. I wanted to capture and preserve the spontaneous images of my grandchildren and special occasions with my family. From there it has developed into a creative outlet to showcase my love of family and friends, travels and adventures, and beauty in everyday life. To me each photograph captures a feeling, expression, or moment in time, tells a story, and documents memories to cherish forever. Nowadays, with the camera seemingly glued to my hand, I am constantly looking through the viewfinder for those moments that I want to capture and save. I was told recently by a photographer, “just shoot from your heart”. That is my intention every time I pick up my camera and I hope it translates through the collection of photographs posted on the website. Enjoy!
